About Maria
Maria Taylor (born May 12, 1987) is in her first year as a sideline reporter for ESPN/ABC's broadcasts of college football and serves as an ESPNU analyst for women's basketball and volleyball. Taylor can also be found hosting SEC studio shows for Comcast Sports South.
Prior to 2012, Maria was a reporter and host for IMG College at the University of Georgia.
The Native of Alpharetta, Georgia played volleyball and basketball
for the University of Georgia. She was a three time All-SEC performer in
volleyball and also played on the USA A2 national volleyball team. She
graduated from Georgia with a degree in Broadcast News in 2009, and is expected
to graduate with her Masters of Business Administration May 2013 from the
University of Georgia.
